About Intrepid Potash, Inc.
Intrepid Potash mines and sells potassium and other mineral products used mainly as fertilizer for farms and as ingredients in industrial processes. They produce potash (potassium chloride), which farmers use to help crops grow, and specialty fertilizers like Trio that contain multiple nutrients in one product. The company also sells salt for de-icing roads, treating animal feed, and supporting oil and gas drilling operations. They operate mines in the western United States and were founded in 2000.
