VALE

Vale is a Brazilian mining company that extracts iron ore and nickel from the ground and sells them to steelmakers and manufacturers around the world. The company also produces copper, cobalt, and gold as byproducts of its mining operations. Vale owns the infrastructure to move these materials, including railways, ports, and ships, and it generates some of its own electricity from hydroelectric dams, solar panels, and wind turbines.
