California Resources Corporation

California Resources Corporation extracts crude oil and natural gas from wells in California and sells them to refineries and other customers. The company also operates power plants that generate electricity, some of which powers its own oil and gas operations. More recently, the company has built a carbon management business called Carbon TerraVault that captures carbon dioxide from the air, transports it, and stores it underground.
