Nutrien supplies farmers with fertilizers and other products they need to grow crops. The company mines potash and manufactures nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers, which are the main nutrients crops require. It also runs a retail business that sells seeds, crop protection products, and equipment to farmers, and provides advice on how to use these products effectively. Nutrien operates globally and was formed in 2017 through a merger of two fertilizer companies.
