Vornado Realty Trust

Vornado owns and operates office buildings, apartment buildings, and retail spaces, mainly in New York City but also in Chicago and San Francisco. The company owns about 26 million square feet of real estate. Vornado is also developing a new neighborhood called PENN DISTRICT in New York. A real estate investment trust, or REIT, is a company that owns properties and is required to pay most of its profits to shareholders as distributions.
