Venture Global builds and operates facilities that turn natural gas into liquefied natural gas (LNG), a form that can be shipped around the world in special tankers. The company has LNG production facilities in the United States and Europe, including projects called Calcasieu, Plaquemines, and CP2. They also handle the transportation and regasification of LNG, which means converting it back into gas for customers to use. Venture Global was founded in 2013 and is based in Arlington, Virginia.
