Onity Group originates and services mortgage loans across the United States and a few other locations. The company handles both forward mortgages (regular home loans) and reverse mortgages (loans for older homeowners), and also services mortgages on behalf of other financial institutions. They operate under the PHH Mortgage and Liberty Reverse Mortgage brand names and work with banks and other lenders to originate and purchase mortgages through brokers and retail channels.
