Legend Biotech is a drugmaker that develops cell therapies to treat cancer. The company's main product is cilta-cel, a treatment for multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer) that works by engineering a patient's own immune cells to fight cancer cells. Legend is also testing earlier-stage versions of this type of therapy, called CAR-T cell therapy, for other cancers including leukemia, lung cancer, and pancreatic cancer. The company partners with larger pharmaceutical companies like Janssen and Novartis to develop and sell these treatments.
