InflaRx is a drug development company that creates medicines to treat inflammation and autoimmune diseases by blocking a protein called C5a. The company's main experimental drug, vilobelimab, is a monoclonal antibody (a type of protein made in labs) designed to reduce dangerous inflammation in patients with septic organ dysfunction, and it is currently being tested in Phase 3 clinical trials. They are also developing Izicopan, an oral pill that targets the same inflammatory pathway, which has completed early-stage testing. InflaRx was founded in 2007 and is based in Jena, Germany.
