Fermi Inc. builds private electric grids designed to supply large amounts of power to data centers and artificial intelligence computing facilities. The company is developing a large campus in Texas called Project Matador that will combine natural gas power plants, nuclear power, solar panels, and battery storage to deliver reliable electricity to these operations. Fermi was incorporated in 2025 and is based in Amarillo, Texas.
