The company runs eight freight railroads and a switching company that move goods for manufacturing plants. It also owns and operates ports and terminals along the Delaware and Ohio rivers that store and handle crude oil, refined products, and other energy materials. The company is developing new businesses focused on converting waste plastic into fuel, hydrogen power generation, and capturing carbon from the air.
