About Equinor ASA
Equinor is a Norwegian energy company that finds, produces, and sells oil and natural gas from fields in Norway, the United States, and internationally. The company also runs refineries and pipelines that process and transport crude oil, natural gas, and refined products like gasoline. In recent years, Equinor has been investing in renewable energy sources including offshore wind farms, solar power, and green hydrogen. The company was formerly called Statoil and changed its name to Equinor in 2018.
