Core Natural Resources digs up and sells coal from mines in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Colorado. They produce two main types of coal: thermal coal, which power plants burn to generate electricity, and metallurgical coal, which steel mills use in the manufacturing process. The company also operates a coal export terminal at the Port of Baltimore where they ship coal to international buyers.
