CEVA sells blueprints and software code that semiconductor companies use to design chips for mobile phones, Wi-Fi devices, and artificial intelligence applications. Instead of building entire chips from scratch, companies license CEVA's designs for things like 5G wireless modems, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios, noise cancellation, and AI processors. CEVA makes money by licensing these reusable technology designs to manufacturers around the world rather than making physical products itself.
