BETA Technologies makes electric aircraft and the equipment they need to operate. The company builds conventional electric planes and electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (aircraft that can take off straight up like a helicopter). BETA also manufactures electric motors and charging systems for these aircraft, and is building a network of charging stations. Their customers use these aircraft for cargo delivery, military purposes, passenger transport, and medical missions.
