Braskem is a Brazilian chemical company that makes plastics and petrochemicals used in countless consumer and industrial products. They produce polyethylene and polypropylene, which are the basic plastics that go into packaging, bags, and containers, as well as polyvinyl chloride used in pipes and vinyl products.
