ASE Technology provides the final manufacturing steps that turn semiconductor chips into finished products ready to use. They package chips, test them to make sure they work, and connect them to the materials that let them function in devices. The company also offers electronic manufacturing services, handling production and assembly for computing, communications, automotive, and industrial equipment. ASE operates factories in Taiwan, Asia, the United States, and Europe, and was founded in 1984.
