About Allegiant Travel Company
Allegiant Travel Company operates a low-cost airline that flies between smaller cities in the United States and popular vacation destinations. They fly a fleet of about 120 Airbus and Boeing aircraft on direct routes that larger airlines often skip. The airline makes money by charging passengers extra fees for things like baggage, seat selection, food, and priority boarding. Allegiant also sells hotel rooms, rental cars, travel insurance, and charter flights, and it owns a golf course in Las Vegas.
