SK hynix makes memory chips that go inside computers, phones, servers, and other electronic devices. The company produces DRAM (the type of memory a device uses while it's running) and NAND flash memory (the type that stores data permanently, like in a smartphone or solid-state drive). They also manufacture memory products for cars and networking equipment, and they do contract manufacturing of other types of semiconductor chips for customers. The company is headquartered in South Korea and sells its products around the world.
