Watchlist
A saved list of companies somebody is following, which is where the research sits before, or instead of, anything being bought.
A watchlist is not a portfolio. Nothing on it is owned, no money is committed, and adding a company commits nothing beyond deciding it is worth paying attention to. That separation is the point: forming a view and acting on one are different steps, and the list holds the first without requiring the second.
On ConvictionStocks each saved ticker carries a note the member wrote in their own words, and that note is the reason the list exists at all. The weekly email about a member's own tickers reads it back beside what that company's price did over the week, so the reasoning and the outcome arrive together rather than months apart.
The list is also what several other parts of the product read from. The assistant can add to it, remove from it and answer questions about what is on it; the earnings calendar can pull upcoming dates for the tickers it holds; a share count can be recorded beside a ticker; and importing a brokerage screenshot fills it in one step.
